It all started 7 years ago in the heart of our high school years when Jacob insisted on helping me throughout the history class we had together. It's now ironic how much "history" we share years later. Our friendship continued in Chemistry, where we later discovered a chemistry that went beyond the periodic table.

Fast forward, Jacob and Alexis ended up dating at the end of their junior year on May 18th, 2018. After high school, they soon realized that what they had was more than just high school romance. They were each other’s first love.

After high school, they both enrolled at LSU. Their time at this university was more than just an academic journey; it was where they strengthened their relationship and supported each other throughout the 4 years they were there. Graduation day at LSU marked not just the end of their college journey but also the beginning of their life as a couple ready to face the world together.

Their commitment to each other was evident in even the smallest moments, like when they both had their wisdom teeth removed on the same day. It was a testament to their unwavering support for each other.

Almost a year later, during a romantic weekend getaway for Alexis’s 23rd birthday, Jacob proposed. It was the most special day yet! The proposal was on the beach framed by a golden sunset. It marked not only her birthday but also the beginning of their new journey together as a couple.

In the months that followed, we decided to tie the knot on a date that perfectly symbolizes our commitment. We chose a wedding date that combines the day we got engaged—February 24—and the month of our anniversary—May. Therefore, our wedding day will be on May 24th, a date that seamlessly blends our love story and special memories, making it a significant and cherished occasion for years to come.
