HOW IT BEGAN

Jake and Madi met in high school through mutual friends. At the time, they were both in long term relationships. Through those relationships they gained a close knit friend group. For four years, Jake and Madi were considered "best friends". Jake would call Madi when he needed...well literally anything. Madi would call Jake when she couldn't get her car to start or needed to be cheered up. Eventually, while in college they went their separate ways. Jake went into the work force while Madi was finishing her college career. They had close to no communication with each other for 2 years, other than occasionally running into each other at bars or Jake responding to Madi's Snapchat stories.

THE REKINDLING

Just before Madi was about to graduate college, she heard from a friend that Jake was at her favorite bar. Madi made the trip to the bar solely to surprise Jake. Immediately they knew they would become close again. Jake and Madi rekindled their friendship, from 4 years earlier, and never looked back. They continued to be each other's right hand man. They would hangout with old and new friends together. Jake would have conversations without Madi hearing about how he would "marry her someday". Jake was there when Madi finally graduated college & Madi was there when Jake got his dream job. Jake and Madi always knew they had something special, but could not risk losing their best friend in any way.

THE FOREVER

After literal years of being mistaken as boyfriend and girlfriend, Jake FINALLY asked Madi to be his girlfriend. To nobody's surprise they moved in together shortly after. Fast forward to a year later, Jake and Madi headed out to Jamaica for a family wedding. They had been looking forward to this trip for over a year, and to Madi's surprise, Jake was excited for other reasons. On the second day of their trip, they went to breakfast with the family. They headed down to the pool to relax and enjoy beautiful Jamaica. Jake asked Madi to go for a walk on the beach. She thought nothing of it, but it shortly became the best walk on the beach she ever took. Without Madi knowing, the family followed them down the beach because they knew what was coming. Jake got down on one knee and took Madi completely by surprise. SHE SAID YES!! After 10+ years of friendship, Jake and Madi's story is not the most traditional, but it was inevitable they ended up together FOREVER!
