Janki went to college with Zach's sister Kelsey at UW-Madison. Kelsey asked Janki to be her friend after seeing her at the library multiple times.

Zach and Janki first met at Kelsey's wedding where they both were in the wedding party and walked together in 2015. From here Zach went back to Phoenix, and Janki went to Seattle for work.

Janki moved down to Phoenix in May 2018, and they both reconnected and began dating shortly after in July 2018. Zach proposed June 2020!

To think Zach and Janki wouldn't be together if Kelsey hadn't introduced herself to Janki in college asking to be friends back in 2010!
