Jared & Summer share a beautiful love story that warms the hearts of all who hear it. The two met on a dating app called Hinge in December of 2022 hoping to fulfill their aspirations of finding ever lasting love. Neither Jared or Summer thought they’d ever resort to a dating app to find their person however their unrelenting desire for authentic connection led them to it.

After months of scrolling through a variety of options on the dating app that seemed to be leading to nowhere, Summer comes across Jared’s profile. Summer's attraction to Jared went far beyond his handsome face & cool sense of style, she was impressed by the intellect he displayed through his interests. She took a chance & “liked” his picture which caught Jared’s attention as he had not come across Summer’s profile. Jared was instantly intrigued by Summer’s beauty & sense of style which led him to send her a message .

The two chatted back & forth through phone calls & texts for about a month. They connected in so many ways, faith, family, interests, hobbies, morals, values & so much more. They are both designers which brought them so much joy to be able to talk about the projects they were working on. They truly considered each other a breath of fresh air. Jared asked Summer on a date & Summer's first yes followed this question. The two were elated to meet each other in person to really determine if the connection they’d built over the phone was real.

Their first date was on February 6, 2023 at Rouj Creole in Baton Rouge, LA. Jared picked Summer up like the gentleman he is & showed her a great night out on the town. The two shared great conversations, laughs & enjoyed each others company. So much so, their second date was the very next day. From that point forward, they went on consistent dates every week between Lafayette & Baton Rouge, shared even more laughs & memorable moments, & wanted to spend every moment together. They built their relationship on God, family, friendship, & honesty. They consistently showed up for each other which built up a strong sense of trust.

On March 11, 2023, Jared asked Summer to be his girlfriend after their weekend get away to New Orleans for the Future concert. Summer’s second yes followed this question & the two were officially a couple. This weekend get away developed their love for traveling together.

Since then, the two have traveled to many places however Tulum, Mexico was the trip to remember. On June 1, 2023 in Tulum, the two told each other they loved each other for the first time while enjoying a couples spa treatment called The Falling in Love package. Which inspired the decision to choose their wedding date as June 1, 2024.

In the following months, the two grew together and built an even stronger relationship. They enjoy going to church together every Sunday followed by a Sunday brunch. They also enjoy working out together, shopping, visiting family, art galleries, concerts & so much more. These two are two peas in a pod & are inseparable. They have become best friends over the last year.

On December 2, 2023, Jared proposed to Summer in Jackson Square in New Orleans, LA. It started as a holiday photoshoot to create Christmas cards to send to family & friends however Jared had other plans. He surprised Summer with a beautiful two-toned oval diamond ring from you guessed it, Jared Jewelers, and asked her to marry him. Summer's third but favorite yes followed this question. The two were overjoyed that they'd made the decision to spend the rest of their lives together and have been feeling beyond blessed ever since. They both believe that God brought them together and cannot wait to celebrate their love with all of you.
