December 23rd, 2016, is when Jared asked Sommer to be his girlfriend and exactly six years later to be his wife. On December 23rd, 2022, Jared proposed to Sommer at Bok Tower Gardens with both of their families there to celebrate.

Bok Tower is where Jared and Sommer spent many days studying after school, going on picnic dates, and walking through the gardens together. That place was so special to Sommer and they made so many memories there when going to school together in Lake Wales.

Jared planned the whole day out without leaving a trace for Sommer to pick up on. While Sommer was at school in Boca, Jared drove over to Sommer's parents house to ask for their blessing. In order to keep Sommer from becoming suspicious, Jared left his phone at his parents' house so she could not see the location on his phone. He found the ring and planned out the perfect proposal spot with him and his family.

Jared asked Sommer if she would come take pictures at Bok Tower with his family. Once they were in the perfect spot, he got on one knee and proposed! Sommer’s family was there the whole time without her knowing and snuck around the corner when Jared got on one knee. Everyone was dressed up for pictures to capture the special moment. We enjoyed the rest of the night celebrating over dinner and champagne!
