Jasmine and Makil met in 2017. Together they both describe their connection between each other as immediate. Without a thought, Makil asked Jasmine on a date; which led to long hours of enjoyable conversations on the phone and a series of dates to follow. Quickly, they found each other spending a great amount of their free time together and intertwining one’s interest into the relationship.

Jasmine (The Adventurous One) talked Makil (The Mild Manner One) into flying across the country and going on various trips; their first trip together being Las Vegas! This pivotal moment in their relationship influenced Jasmine and Makil to see each other outside of their daily living environment; nevertheless, the two became inseparable. Spending several holidays, birthdays, and family gatherings together made it undeniable that the 2 should become 1.

Over the years, each experience, family outing, and tribulation helped the couple cement the foundation of their relationship; God, Family, Love, Trust, and Travel. In 2022, the couple welcomed their BIGGEST blessing, Emery! Following the expansion of their family, Makil asked Jasmine for her hand in marriage under 1 million dazzling Christmas lights; to honor the 1 million reasons of love, trust and partnership between these two love birds.
