As with most modern love stories, Jasmine and Jaxom's began on a dating app. Once upon a time, Jasmine came across Jaxom's profile and with photos of cats, board games and him wearing a liberty print button-down shirt she instantly swiped a resounding "yes"! Jasmine made the first move by sending a message and after a few weeks of back and forth they went on their first date together on May 22 2021.

True to his usual style, Jaxom arrived well in advance... by several hours! He visited Chu Bakery beforehand to pick up tarts and pastries as he wasn't sure the cafe he chose would have the best selection. They had tea and bonded over their mutual dislike of coffee before browsing all of the houseplants in the cafe.

Continuing the date, they walked together to Hyde Park, stopping along the way to pat a cute kitty, and sat together and talked beside the lake beneath the trees. Jaxom then began to court Jasmine with his expansive knowledge of duck and other bird facts!
