Jean and Mike went on their first date on May 11, 2024. Their second date (bowling) was less than a week later. For anyone who knows how much Jean dislikes bowling, it's a real testament to Mike that she agreed to go bowling! Mike met Jean's family soon after, and they made the trip to New York to meet Mike's friends and family over Labor Day weekend.

In their free time, Jean and Mike enjoy cooking together, watching sports, attending Mass every Sunday, and going to concerts.

A little over 9 months after their first date, Mike proposed to Jean on her parents' front porch, in true southern fashion.
