Our Wedding

We met on July 25th, 2021, and no, it was&nbsp;not&nbsp;love at first sight. Honestly, neither of us thought, or even imagined, we’d be&nbsp;the one&nbsp;for each other. Ian: the quiet, reserved guy.Jenny: the loud, high-spirited girl. Total opposites, right? But God had other plans. That same July, Ian gave his life to Jesus and felt called to stay in the States. So, he listened, stayed in North Carolina, and ended up at the Young Adults group at ICC which I was leading.At first, we were just acquaintances. No sparks, no butterflies, just “Hey, nice to see you.” Fast forward to 2022—his brother Pablo starts dating my best friend Jessica (thanks, guys!), which meant we started seeing each other a bit more. Somewhere in the middle of group hangouts and awkward small talk, a sweet little friendship started to grow. We were both chasing after God, still clueless about what He was up to behind the scenes.Then came March 2023. Something shifted. We started catching&nbsp;feelings and by the end of May, Ian told me how he felt. Two weeks later—on June 12th—he asked me to join him on an adventure. And oh, what an adventure it’s been! For two years, we’ve laughed until our cheeks hurt, prayed through the highs and lows, cried happy and ugly tears, and grown in ways we never imagined.Then, on June 14th, 2025, at Bond Park in Cary, with “Married Life” playing in the background, that quiet and steady man got down on one knee and asked this loud and lively woman to spend forever with him.And of course—I said YES!

Jenny’s older sister and one of her dearest friends. From sharing a room growing up to the time Stephanie drove four hours just to bring her baby sister home from college, their bond has only grown stronger through every stage of life. She’s been there for every laugh, every tear, and every milestone — and Jenny couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Luis “Gabi” is Ian’s older brother and one of his closest friends. From childhood memories to life’s biggest moments, their bond has always been unshakable. Ian couldn’t imagine this day without his big brother by his side.

Jenny's best friend and future sister-in-law. They met while working at Faith Point Academy and have been best friends since 2021.

Pablo is Ian's oldest brother. They have shared memories from the moment Ian was only two years. Upon arriving in the United States Pablo and Ian only grew closer from sharing a room to sharing countless memories through the years.

Jenny has known Selena for many years, but it was through their Young Adults group that their friendship truly blossomed. Over the past three years, they’ve become inseparable — sharing laughter, late-night talks, and countless memories. Jenny is so grateful to have Selena by her side on this special day.

Ivan is Ian’s newest friend, but it feels like they’ve known each other for years. Brought together by God at just the right time, their friendship quickly became something special. Ivan has been a constant source of wisdom, encouragement, and godly counsel — a true blessing in Ian’s life.

A close friend of Jenny’s and someone who’s been there since the start of Ian and Jenny's relationship. Her friendship means the world to Jenny, and she’s so excited to have her standing by her side as she begins this new chapter.

Antonio, lovingly known as Tonio, was one of Ian's first friends when he moved to North Carolina. They have shared multiple memories from waffle house runs, soccer games and even deep heartfelt conversations.

Emma is lovingly known as Jenny’s little sister. Over the years, Jenny has had the joy of being both her mentor and her teacher, watching her grow into the incredible woman she is today. What began as guidance has blossomed into a beautiful friendship and sisterhood that Jenny deeply treasures.
