Dylan and Jessica have known each other ever since Jessica was a dorky, tennis-playing 8th grader, and Dylan was the big bad, flat bill hat, buckle jean-wearing 7th grader. However, their paths did not cross for another 9 years when Dylan was stationed in Kuwait, a few miles across the world, and Jessica was preparing to start law school in the fall. Dylan decided to message Jessica and ask her out to coffee when he got home for leave. However, Jessica had heard of red flags in these pesky military men and thought she shouldn't start up a long-distance relationship. After sobbing in his pillow for many months, Dylan decided to get back out there but knew the only quality women were located back in Mooresville, Indiana, so he set his Hinge location with hopes of love carrying him back home. Dylan and Jessica's relationship began with the start of law school and trips to see each other every two weeks. Eventually, Dylan moved home and worked for Jessica's father as a feed huller while he searched for a big-time firefighting position and went through EMT school. Dylan helped the Langleys move.. build a home.. and then move again all while Jessica was still chugging away at law school. The two love birds decided it was almost the perfect time to start their dream lives as husband and wife. By the time the wedding comes, Dylan will have gotten through his probationary year as a firefighter, and Jessica will have graduated, passed the bar, and will be preparing to start her career as an attorney.
