Evan and Joie met at college at SDSU. Evan was a senior graduating in a few weeks and Joie was a Junior. Evan was instantly drawn to how cool Joie was. Evan took Joie to Texas Roadhouse on their first official date and after that they became inseparable. Evan supported Joie in her final year of nursing school cheering her on from afar and visiting as much as possible.


In June of 2023, Evan and Joie adopted their puppy Oliver and together they spoil him every day. They bought a house in October of 2023 and in March of 2024, Evan popped the question on a trip to the Black Hills with their best friends present!


Evan and Joie plan to keep laughing at each other, supporting each other, and most importantly, loving each other.
