We met in college at UNR, Jordan's freshman year and Jason's sophomore, through a Christian club on campus called Young Life. Jordan had participated in Young Life in high school where she met Jason’s college roommates. Once Jordan got to college, we were introduced over Mexican food at the business building (thanks Matt and Zack) and we became fast friends once we realized we had A LOT in common.

That summer, Jason bet Jordan that he could get tanner than her (even though he worked in an office and Jordan was an outdoor lifeguard) and the loser had to buy lunch. Although the winner is still debatable, Jason bought Jordan lunch and as they say, the rest is history. Our first date was a few weeks later consisting of a very competitive game of mini golf and milkshakes at Johnny Rockets.

5 years later, after spending the day running errands and both pretending we had no clue what was happening that night, Jason proposed on the beach in Lake Tahoe at sunset after dinner at Garwood's. After finishing college, navigating a long-distance relationship, and finally getting an apartment together this year, we couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter of our lives!
