Jordan & Blair

Our Story

Jordan and Blair met on a dating platform in the winter of 2022. The first things they noticed about each other that sparked their connection was their strong faith, values, and love for ranches and mountains.

This sparked lots of fun conversation and after a few weeks.... finally their first date. On Jordan and Blair's first date they unknowingly discovered the commitment it would take to be together. The unpredictable Denver traffic made Jordan half hour late to dinner. Blair nervously awaited him with a margarita. Once Jordan arrived he couldn't believe Blair was even more beautiful than her pictures showed. They met and talked and Blair was immediately in love with Jordan's cowboy boots.

After enjoying just a few short dates Jordan found that Blair didn't have any set plans to ring in the New Year. He nervously made the plunge and asked if she would come out to his birthday dinner with his family and then go celebrate with his friends with bowling and games.

After a few more dates before they knew it was love, they ventured out to the National Western Stock Show where they took their first picture together. They loved roaming through the stock yards looking at all the animals, booths filled with western/cowboy marvel and eventually made their way into the big rodeo. They couldn't believe how much they had in common and how much fun they had doing all of their favorite things together.

As February came it was time for some other big moves, Blair invited Jordan to join her in Florida to meet her parents, visit a high school friend and attend a friends wedding. It was a busy short few days! Jordan and Blair continued to check all the boxes and pass all the tests with one another. Under the beautiful Florida night sky Jordan told Blair he loved her and to his amazement she said it back.

It was at this moment Jordan began to hear wedding bells but something was wrong with Blairs ears because she wasn't quite hearing them yet. They spent the rest of winter doing short weekends in Estes Park, Winter Park, SteamBoat and catching any country concert they could. Every day together and every new adventure continued to further ignite their growing love.

As summer approached Jordan had already bought a ring and was pondering how to first get the father's permission to have Blairs hand and second how to pop the "BIG QUESTION". Over the 4th of July Jordan flew out to meet Blair and her family in Minnesota. On the last night Jordan mustered up the courage, surprised Dave with a bottle of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and went out on the back Patio for a great conversation about Jordan and Blair's future.

As they returned to Colorado all that was left was to plan the perfect day. Jordan and Blair went to the Dominican Republic with Jordan's parents on a last minute beach vacation. Jordan wasn't going to propose there because it seemed too predictable and he wasn't sure if they were ready; after all they had only been dating for 8 months. In a last minute pep talk, Jordan's dad, Jim, convinced him to go get the ring and bring it just incase. As the trip commenced every day spent in the pool, soaking up the sun and dinner in paradise, set the stage for the perfect opportunity.

On August 9th, Jordan had made plans for a special romantic dinner date on the beach. Jordan had arranged for some photographers to be their to get photos of the dinner and sunset. Little did Blair know these pictures would capture one of the most meaningful moments in her life.

Jordan had a perfect script planned out. They were going to go take pictures, dance to one of their favorite songs, and in the perfect moment he would drop to one knee. Well this plan was never communicated to the photographers. As the sunset pictures commenced all a sudden the photographers had Blair turn and face the ocean and began to signal to Jordan to pull out the ring and get down on one knee. To Jordan's surprise now was the time! As Blair turned around she saw Jordan on one knee with a ring in hand; she gasped for air glanced away and looked back and realized this was the moment. She said Yes!
