In the midst of the year 2020, when the world seemed to slow down, two hearts found each other in the digital realm. What began as a simple exchange of messages evolved into countless hours of conversation, laughter, and shared dreams over the course of a whole year. Despite the distance and the barriers of a screen, a special connection blossomed between us.Our first meeting was something to remember—a playful and charming mini golf date that set the tone for the adventures to come. With each clink of our putters and every playful banter, it was clear that something extraordinary was unfolding.From that day forward, our love for the outdoors became our shared passion. Whether it was exploring hiking trails or playing a round of golf, every moment together felt like a perfect blend of joy and companionship. Our weekends were often filled with the thrill of discovering new state parks, a hobby that brought us closer and created lasting memories. Together, we’ve visited over 20 state parks, each one a chapter in our story.The beach became our sanctuary, with Santa Cruz holding a special place in our hearts. It was there, amidst the sun and surf, that Joe planned a memorable weekend getaway. The moment came in the serene beauty of Forest Nisene Marks State Park—a place we had both come to cherish. Under the canopy of towering trees, Joe knelt down and asked the question that would forever change our lives. With a sparkling ring and a heartfelt promise, he proposed, making that weekend a testament to our love and our shared adventures.Our journey together has been marked by a deep connection and a love for the natural beauty around us. As we look back on our story, we are reminded of the simple joys and the incredible bond we’ve built, all starting from that first online conversation to our countless adventures and this beautiful new chapter as we step into the future together.
