Josie and Tony first met in 2013 at Dubuque Senior High School. They were both involved in the theatre and music programs, and spent many years in the same friend group. Josie credits Tony's mom (Kate) and grandma (Martha) for their matchmaking skills: Josie bought flowers each week from Martha's Gardens, where Kate and Martha frequently ended their Farmers Market sales with encouragement to give Tony a call. Josie and Tony eventually followed their advice and got together! Now, Josie and Tony are getting married on the flower farm that started it all!

Josie graduated from Drake University! A mid-COVID Zoom graduation in 2020 fashion.

The big move to Tulsa, OK! Tony drove the 16-foot U-HAUL and surprised Josie with her favorite ice cream.

A special week! Josie received her white coat; Josie and Tony adopted their Siamese kitty, Margot.

Tony and Josie became members of the Tulsa Botanic Garden! They spent at least one date night a month visiting the gardens.

Tony surprised Josie with a trip to Lawrence, Kansas to see a field of sunflowers in bloom.

Tony graduated paramedic school! He then embarked on a 47-state roadtrip with a goal to reach the tallest point of every state (he's made it to 36/50 so far!)

Match Day! Josie will complete her neurology residency at the University of Arizona: Phoenix. Josie and Tony move from Oklahoma to Arizona at the end of April.
Josie and Tony love all things outdoors, with a special passion for birdwatching, camping, and hiking. They plan to visit every National Park in the United States. They also love attending concerts, listening to records, and baking.
