In our sophomore year, we were set up as each other's homecoming dates. Little did we know...we were in the same Spanish class!! One day after class, Alex walked up to Julia and said 'hi'. He asked her to be his girlfriend on 09/22/2014 and the rest is history.

Julia went to the University of Maryland and Alex went to the Virginia Military Institute. Not living 10 minutes down the road from each other was different, but we loved our college experiences and were able to see each other all the time. There were countless ZTA formals, VMI tailagtes, and family vacations.

After graduation, Alex got stationed at Fort Polk in Louisiana. Julia and Alex moved in to their first apartment together in Leesville in March 2022. They adopted (well found) their cat Luna, Alex graduated from Sapper school, they visited Houston and New Orleans, and adopted their second cat, Pepper. They made so many good friends and loved their time in LA. They recently moved to Boston and cannot wait to explore the city.

They are so excited to be getting married the day before their 10 year anniversary and cannot wait to celebrate with everyone.
