What to do/see on the island
· The Cave of Antiparos. The most famous sight on the small but picturesque island of Antiparos is its Cave. This interesting natural wonder is full of stalactites and stalagmites which form different shapes.
· The Church of Agios Ioannis Spiliotis lies in the Cave of Antiparos. Dedicated to Saint John, the chapel displays the Cycladic style of architecture.
· The Venetian Castle of Antiparos (Kastro). Antiparos was a major attraction to all pirates in the Aegean Sea, due to its location. In 1440, the Venetians built a castle to protect the residents of this town.
It is also worth going on a one-day boat trip from Antiparos to Despotiko, a small island right next to Antiparos.
