Folsom Lake College wasn't just the place where we earned our degrees; it's where we found the love of our lives.  It was 2020, and a chance encounter sparked a friendship that quickly blossomed. 
On April 7, 2021, our friendship evolved into a partnership. Life, however, wasn't without its challenges. As Jeffrey finished his final year at Folsom Lake, we embarked on a long-distance adventure. Chico, where Justice continued her studies, became a familiar weekend destination, filled with stolen moments and whispered promises to close the gap soon.
Distance continued to test our love as Jeffrey pursued his baseball dreams at the University of Nevada, Reno. It is true what they say, distance truly does make the heart grow fonder. Video calls became our lifeline, and every reunion was a cause for celebration. Finally, with unwavering support in each other's corner, Justice made the move to Reno in Jeffrey's senior year. We navigated the whirlwind of college life together, cheering Jeffrey on at games and celebrating each other's every academic milestone.
Graduation day was bittersweet. We'd conquered college, but a future stretched ahead, uncertain and exciting. It was on the first day of June, a beautiful summer morning, that Jeffrey took my breath away. To my complete surprise, Jeffrey was on one knee apologizing for not getting me the blue ring pop that I had requested, but if I would marry him anyway. Words escaping me I nodded my head, yes, and the promise of forever became a tangible reality.
On September 13th, 2025, we'll stand before our loved ones, not just as Jeffrey and Justice, but as a testament to the enduring power of love. The journey from Folsom Lake College to I do has been an incredible adventure, filled with laughter, tears, and unwavering support. It's a story we can't wait to continue writing, forever bound by the love that blossomed on a college campus and thrived through the test of time and distance.
