Both Justin and Jennie made the decision to attend ASU West after graduating from High Schools that were 531 miles apart.

They crossed paths at ASU West in the Fall of 2016, but didn’t become friends until they both took the same Astronomy class second semester of their Freshman year.

They started spending every minute outside of class together and soon became a group of four with Luke and Giselle. They enjoyed taking weekend trips up to Flagstaff and became closer as time went on. 


Justin secretly had a crush on Jennie and came to this realization in the second semester of their Sophomore year.
He told Luke one night while they were brushing their teeth and he responded “I could tell and I’m happy for you”

Giselle and Jennie somehow convinced Justin to move in with them their Senior Year.

Justin finally confessed his love for Jennie on the balcony of their Apartment in the Winter of 2019.

They graduated (as friends) in May of 2020 after being sent to finish the last few months of their senior year at home—531 miles away from each other.

They both came back to Phoenix for one last College Hurrah and took Grad pictures together.

On December 31, 2020 Jennie took a trip to Calaveras County and spent the New Year with Justin’s friends and family.

On January 4, 2021 Justin asked Jennie to be his Girlfriend (she said YES!)

For the next year and a half they navigated a long distance relationship and took turns visiting each other.

After what seemed like forever living a state apart, Justin moved to Phoenix in April of 2022.

Justin proposed to Jennie in Sedona, Arizona on February 3, 2024.
