Our Wedding

Kimberly &amp; Kaela met in their youth during the summer. Kaela was 16, heading into her junior year of high school, meanwhile, Kimberly was 17, heading into her senior. They played competitive basketball together where they became best friends. From there on, they played at rivalry schools competing on the collegiate level for the Jayhawks West conference. Supporting one another as best friends as they found themselves, who they are &amp; what they wanted to become. Late summer in 2017 the girls went out as besties &amp; engaged in their normal chaotic night. Home for the summer from college. Kimberly, being the gentle soul she is, helped Kaela by carrying her heels &amp; held her hand as they stumbled back to their car. In that moment, Kaela had never felt so safe. For the first time ever, Kaela confessed her feeling. More so, drunkenly expressed her feelings by saying “I have a crush on you.” This stopped Kimberly right in her tracks &amp; they spent the rest of the evening discussing it &amp; if it was worth risking the friendship. They took a leap of faith &amp; began their journey together. They made their official date of 6/30/2017. Love writes itself with these two.Soulmates as best friends &amp; soulmates as lovers. Soulmates forever. Xoxo.

ATTENTION!!!! PLEASE keep in mind that you will be at a higher altitude. Therefore, altitude sickness can happen. Please drink a lot of water prior and during your stay. Altitude sickness can be torture. Lastly, due to higher altitude you are more likely to get drunk quicker or high quicker. Do NOT be like Kaela &amp; end up in the hospital the first time in Colorado. Pace yourself, drink water, chew gum and take breaks.

Our Welcome Party

We are hosting a welcome party on 6/26/2026 at 6PM. This is in place of the rehearsal dinner. Since our wedding is so intimate, we wanted to allow the chance for people to mingle, meet and get to know each other. Let's face it, no one likes an awkward wedding. This will be held on 52 acres estate (Valley Glenn) in Divide, Colorado. There are 3 Airbnb's on the property where immediate family will be staying. Enjoy the Colorado sunset and watch it fall over the mountains with the mountain escape property. We will be providing food and drinks.Location: Divide, Colorado (30 minutes from Colorado Springs)Attire: Semi FormalWe will have photographers present.

Manitou Springs is our favorite place to visit! Along with the penny arcade, there are tons of shops, places to eat and just a cute town that we hold near and dear to our heart. We hope you love it as much as us.

Of course, how can you go to Colorado without going to a dispo. In Colorado there are only so many places where recreational marijuana can be purchased. Those spots are Denver, Manitou &amp; Pueblo. This spot is our go to whenever we come into town. Check their website for deals!

Emerald Fields

This is such a fun activity for the family. Our first trip to Colorado we spent time here. There is a playground area, adventure package, and can tour caves. Truly such a cool experience.

Cave of the Winds Mountain Park

This is in my favorite part of Colorado Springs, the Broadmoor. One of the wealthier neighborhoods on top of a mountain. Be sure to not be afraid of heights if you're driving.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Do you want to see the views without the hike? take the train. Also located in Manitou, you can ride the train up to the top of Pikes Peak &amp; catch the stunning views.

Pikes Peak Cog Railway Peak Station

This is a free activity just to get out into the mountains and hike around. Be sure to bring comfy shoes and clothing if you are interested in this. download the Alltrails app for local hiking trails.
