When I met Kaitlin I was in a very strange place in my life. Transitioning away from being a mechanic, going back to school, and trying to find my footing again after living overseas. Neither of us were looking for a relationship when we met but as is so often the case that is exactly when you will meet the person who will be the love of your life.
As is the case with anyone who knows either of us nothing about our relationship is average or by the book. We fell in love fast and have supported each other through good times and bad.
We have grown and learned and bettered each other throughout our relationship by giving each the support and safety to grow, heal , and become better partners for each other.
I could go on for hours about how much I love Kaitlin and give you a list of reasons why a mile long. And I'm sure she could do the same. But to sum it up shortly. She is my person, and I'm hers. And I can't wait to take this next step on our journey together.
When I met Ben, I was just getting by. I felt like I was just going through the motions and had very little direction. I honestly wasn't even looking for a relationship.
Then I started talking to Ben. I think I noticed he was different as soon as he started actually calling me. Before we even got to meet (he had Covid) he was calling me everyday on my way to and from work and even just during the day. I think even then I started trying to find more direction in my life. Once we met, things immediately took off, and I knew very quickly he was the one.
Since then, it has been a crazy roller coaster of life events for both of us. He has become the base of my support system. He has managed to keep me grounded (for the most part) and has helped me find the direction I want my life to go, all while being the most supportive and understanding person I know. He is everything I wasn't looking for, and I am so excited to plan this celebration of us. I cannot wait to be Mrs. Carter ❤
