Kate and Luke met over 11 years ago in their sixth-grade science class. Through the ups and downs of middle school, they became close friends and eventually in the 8th grade it became something more. Following the last day of middle school, Luke asked Kate out while waiting to ride their favorite rollercoaster at Six Flags. Since that day, they have been inseparable.


Throughout high school they shared their first kiss, first I love you, and first taste of true love. Next, came high school graduation. Kate and Luke chose to attend different colleges, but it brought them even closer together. The distance taught them to never take a single moment together for granted as they grew to love the quick weekend trips to visit each other.


4 years flew by and college graduation came and went. Together Kate and Luke began to learn how to navigate this new grown-up world. On top of this new season of life, they got a Golden Retriever named Bodie, who Kate claims is the real love of her life. This little family of three decided to plant their roots by buying a place of their own in Emerson, Georgia.


Next up came one of the happiest days of their life: the engagement, the day Luke made Kates dreams come true. He gathered their family and close friends in the most beautiful spot in Savannah, Georgia. When Luke got down on one knee, of course, Kate said yes, she had been waiting for this moment since the 8th grade. It was the perfect day that everyone had been waiting for.


Since then, Kate and Luke have been busy working their new “adult jobs” , settling into their first home, planning a wedding, and most importantly, loving the life that they get to live together. One puppy wasn’t enough for them, so they added another addition to their family, a Labrador Retriever named Miller. Their little home is full of so much love, and of course muddy paw prints.
