Kate and Matt both grew up in Chandler, Arizona only a few miles away from each other and became friends in high school through mutual soccer friends. Their friendship (and crush) grew after attending a church camp together in the winter of 2016. After a couple movie and dinner dates, Matt asked Kate to be his girlfriend on New Year’s Day 2017 right at midnight and the rest is history… cue the fireworks.

In the eight years since, the high school sweethearts attended NAU together where they celebrated four graduations-both receiving their bachelors and masters degrees. They have shared countless adventures exploring Arizona and traveling whenever they can. Kate and Matt have grown together and learned to love each other unconditionally while also growing independently and finding their own passions in life.

They are overjoyed that they will be making the decision to spend forever loving each other, and they cannot wait for all their friends and family to join them in the celebration of their LaBlanc Love Story.
