Trenton and Katelyn first met the way many modern couples now meet - through Tinder. Trent reached out to Katelyn first, where they talked for a few days...and then Katelyn ghosted him. Yep, you heard that right (He will NEVER let her live this down). Ignored all of the snapchat and Instagram messages, until one day, in the middle of tonsil surgery recovery, Katelyn decided to give Trent a second chance, and answered his message.

From there, they talked for about 1.5 weeks before going on their first date on 6/18/23. Trent asked Katelyn to be his girlfriend that day, and she said yes!

From there, their love for each other only continued to grow. Katelyn moved back home in March 2024, and while she was home, they planned and saved up for their first apartment together. They moved in together 1/31/25, and unbeknownst to Katelyn, Trenton had been planning a proposal for the very next week.

Trenton and Katelyn then traveled to Portland, OR for a Magic the Gathering tournament and flew in a couple days early to explore the city. They spent the first two days seeing the city, eating amazing food, and going to the world's largest independent bookstore. This is where Trenton would get down on one knee and ask her to marry him (after she actually realized what was happening after finding a ring in a book...) on 2/6/25. Katelyn said her second "yes", and their journey to forever began.

As of now, Trent and Katelyn have been living together for over a year, and have adopted two sweet fur-babies into their family (Rocco and Elmo). They enjoy going to Royals baseball games, mini-golfing, attending performing arts events, and reading/playing video games together! They cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together and live happily ever after <3
