Katherine and Jared's love story began in the early fall of their first semester at MTSU. They first crossed paths on top of a parking garage, each with their own circle of friends. As the semester unfolded, their friendship blossomed. What started as group hangouts gradually evolved into cozy drives to admire Christmas lights, with Jared nervously enduring Katherine's driving skills.

Over winter break, their connection deepened through long phone conversations. Returning for the spring semester, they found themselves spending more time alone together, discovering a special bond beyond friendship. Jared officially asked Kat out in early March.

Since then, Katherine and Jared have navigated life's ups and downs, growing stronger with each challenge. During their three wonderful years of dating, they have embarked on countless adventures – hiking trails, discovering new restaurants, surviving Chemistry study sessions, and dancing together. They both understand the effort relationships require; Katherine patiently coaches Jared on the greens, while he helps her unwind and enjoy the moment.

During their final semester of college, Jared asked Katherine to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes, sealing their commitment to a lifetime of love and partnership.
