Katie swiped right and got a message from Zach almost immediately - 3 hearteye emojis. That pick-up line (somehow) worked, and by the end of the night, Katie looked at her friend-turned-bridesmaid Christina and said, "I think I'm going to marry him".

When Zach came home from college in Florida that winter, we hung out for the first time and have been together ever since! With the help of maid of honor Katie Fanning, Zach popped the question at Katie's favorite local winery, the Vineyards at Dodon.

Through college, living together on Glebe Bay, and adopting two dogs, it's been 9 years full of love and laughter.
