It was love at first swipe!

Kelly and Chris met in 2019 on Bumble, a popular dating app, where an impressive emoji-war began a budding romance.

Their first official date was a Dodgers game on the Fourth of July, followed by fireworks on-and-off the field ;) (Just kidding. Chris's parents taught him to be a gentleman who never kisses on the first date...)

Soon, they were deeply involved in each others' worlds. Kelly introduced Chris to her love of football and the Minnesota Vikings, her passion for nutrition, and beloved pup Gracie Lou Freebush - and Chris in turn introduced Kelly to his love for The L.A. Dream Center, weightlifting, and the Dodgers (anything about the Lakers has been omitted due to father-of-the-bride sensitivities). Their mutual love of sports, exercising, going to church, and adventuring blossomed into a romantic love for each other.

Chris proposed in Big Bear, CA October of 2022 (yes, in the snow under the stars). Now engaged and after four-and-a-half years together, Kelly and Chris spent the last year living together in a fantastic Studio City apartment raising TWO rambunctious doggies... and are currently in the process of moving to Maui!


It's a very exciting time right now. Kelly and Chris can't wait to get married, say yes to forever, and share in that special day with all of you in a location that's very near and dear to their hearts! See you there :)
