Our Wedding

It all started at the Boys and Girls Club. We met in our late teen years—just two young souls crossing paths, never imagining what the future had planned for us. We spent time laughing, talking, and slowly getting to know each other in between the everyday chaos of growing up. At one point, I (Kelsey) even invited Deonte to come visit me at Fazoli’s, where I was working at the time. He said he would… but he never showed up! (I still believe he was just too nervous. 😉) Despite that missed breadstick moment, life had its own way of bringing us closer. What started as a simple friendship grew into something deep, real, and lasting. We supported each other through life’s highs and lows, and somehow always found our way back to one another. Now here we are getting ready to become husband and wife. From the Boys and Girls Club to forever, our love story has been anything but ordinary… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kristen and I met back in high school and have been inseparable ever since. We’ve watched our kids grow up together and never miss a chance to keep our holiday traditions alive. She’s more than a best friend — she’s my sister, my constant, and truly my bestie for life. 🤍

Madison is my baby sister, and she has the kindest heart of anyone I know. Her gentle spirit, big heart, and loving nature make everyone around her feel special. Watching her grow has been such a blessing, and I’m so proud of the person she’s becoming. She’ll always be my little sister and my forever friend.

Cheyenne and I met while working at the Boys and Girls Club, and it didn’t take long for us to click. No matter what, she’s always stayed true — and that kind of loyalty means everything. I’m grateful for the friendship we’ve built and the memories we’ve made along the way.

Mackenzie and I met back in high school and have been close ever since. From laughing our way through amusement parks and screaming in haunted houses, to standing by her side on her wedding day and watching her become the amazing mom she is now — we’ve shared so many unforgettable moments.

Komori is our beautiful junior bridesmaid and also Deonte’s little cousin. She’s full of light, love, and energy. Watching her grow into such a smart and kind young girl has been such a joy. I’m so happy she gets to be a part of our special day — it means the world to have her by our side!

Brian has been Deonte’s partner in Crime since middle school. From surviving awkward teenage years to partying their way through their 20s, the two have shared more stories (and probably a few hangovers) than either can count. The Groom couldn’t imagine this day without the guy who’s been there for all the chaos and all the laughs.

Tyler isn’t just the Grooms cousin- he’s his brother in every way. They’ve been inseparable since the very beginning, riding through wins,losses, and everything in between. Deonte still remembers the time he bloodied Tyler’s nose for picking on him, but even then Tyler never stopped having his back. Sharing the same name and bond, Deonte knows their loyalty to each other will last forever.

Deonte met Taylor playing football for the Douglas Bearcats from age 8 and again at Tates Creek highschool. From teammates to lifelong friends, and even college roommates, their bond has only grown stronger through every stage of life. Taylor has always been loyal, steady, and like family — and the Groom is honored to have him stand beside him.

Deonte met Jamari met through cousins Tyler and Adrian, but from day one he felt like family. Growing up, Jamari always had heart and they even fought a couple times because he was also a bully lol but underneath it all he’s always been one of Deonte’s most loyal friends. Jamari is the type of guy who would do anything for him, and that’s a bond Deonte will cherish.

Reuben and Deonte became friends in middle school and have been cool ever since. Over the years, they’ve built a friendship rooted in laughs, loyalty, and respect. The Groom is grateful for all the moments they’ve shared and values Reuben’s place in his life now more than ever.

Reuben Morrison 

Allie came into my life not that long ago, but it truly feels like we’ve known each other forever. From unforgettable trips like the Bahamas to fun date nights and so many laughs in between, our friendship has grown so naturally. She’s someone who brings so much joy, support, and good energy into my life, and I’m so grateful our paths crossed when they did. I couldn’t imagine this special season without her by my side, and I’m so excited she’ll be standing with me as one of my bridesmaids on our big day.

Our wedding day wouldn’t be complete without our biggest blessing- Our son, Jayden. We’re so proud to have him by our side as we take this next step as a family. Watching him grow has been our greatest joy, and we can’t wait to continue building this beautiful life together.
