Bride's POV: We met at a house party in Laramie, WY while Kevin was working and I was studying to become a teacher. A party that I didn't even want to go to! Mutual friends of ours wanted to have a get together and invited us both over. I had to be begged and bribed to go with my friends and Kevin was the house bartender creating us all delicious drinks! (Although I did say the drink Kevin made me was below average at best). We bonded over mutual love for Pennsylvania NFL teams and quickly became friends, as the group of mutual friends we had, began to get together more and more often. Kevin pined after me for quite a while; he was relentless and would not take "no" for an answer. Finally, and only after Kevin had conveniently moved to Ohio to start a new life, did I admit the feelings I had for him and we began dating immediately on August 19, 2018. I then secretly went to visit Kevin in September (sorry readers) where we had our first date at the zoo! Kevin moved back to Laramie shortly after in October just in time for my 21st birthday! We moved in together in November and never looked back, living with a multitude of my friends along the way, we finally got our own place once we moved across the country to Phoenix, AZ in 2020. We continued to explore, try new experiences, and be the best of friends. On February 19, 2025; exactly 6.5 years of dating later, Kevin FINALLY proposed to me in the backyard of our apartment with special guest Glendo (our miniature poodle mix) happily wagging his tail for the exciting moment. I'm so incredibly excited to marry my best friend! Groom's POV: We met at my friend's apartment in Laramie, WY where I was mixing the most delicious blue cocktail Kendall has ever tasted (don't listen to her, she asked for more). I began a sports conversation with the guys and Kendall chimed in to declare her love for the Pittsburgh Steelers (which is close, but still not the team she should love); immediately when I heard her talk about her love for sports - the rivals and the similarities made me fall for her instantly. I did not pine after her, but I did make it known to her that I was interested, and there was no way I was giving up easily. She may have told me "no" a few times, but they were not very convincing. I tried so hard to get her to admit her feelings before my move, I EVEN HELPED HER SEARCH FOR HER LOST DOG (Glendo) AT 2AM THE DAY BEFORE I HAD TO LEAVE! She wouldn't budge, so I took the trek to Ohio and began working. Immediately after I moved, Kendall and I would talk each day through text and she FINALLY admitted her feelings for me. I knew from the moment I met her, she was going to be my wife, so this was one step closer! I convinced her to come visit me (I didn't tell her to do it secretly) and we had our first date at the zoo! I moved back to Laramie soon after in October just in time to celebrate Kendall's 21st birthday for what felt like the entire month. I moved in with her and her friends in November and we have lived together ever since. She agreed to move to Phoenix, AZ with me in 2020 where we got our first place completely alone. We have experienced so much life together in Arizona and it is where I decided to propose to her on what marked our 6.5 year anniversary (don't let her fool you, she may have waited, but she was not patient) All I can say is I can't wait to marry this beautiful girl and I'm very thankful her friends begged her to come to that party.

Maya holds a sense of warmth that radiates to everyone she meets. I met Maya back in 2016 in the dorms at the University of Wyoming and almost immediately we became inseparable—thanks to late-night trauma dumping, food runs, and late nights on the dance floor. She helped me move to Phoenix—where we had two weeks of exploring, laughter, and questionable decisions.

She’s my best friend, my partner in crime, and the one who taught me to say “yes” more often. Having her as my Matron of Honor feels like the most perfect choice.

Maya Peterson

Tyler is my longest/closest friend, we met when I moved 2 houses down from him on Silvergate Drive in 2004, since then he's been the closest thing to a brother that I've had. Crazy to think as an Eagles fan I would become such good friends with a Dallas fan, but all that did was spark a lifelong friendship.

Jaz and I go way back to freshman year at Cheyenne Central High School, stumbling into pre‑algebra class together (ask her to tell you the story!). She’s the one whose laugh always echoes first in the room, and that’s exactly how she reeled me in. She’s my go‑to for real talk, but more than that, I’m fiercely protective of her.

Whether we’re cracking up over inside jokes or sharing serious life moments, having her stand with me means everything. Because through all of it—laughs, tears, advice, late‑night chats—she’s always been in my corner.

Jazmine Garcia

David and I became friends/brothers in Highschool and all that happened was a lot of bad (great) decisions and great memories. Him and his family have done more for me than I  ever asked for and I have nothing but love for this guy.

Tori and I met in college at the University of Wyoming in 2017 when she moved in with Maya—and from the moment she arrived, she’s kept me on my toes with her relentless curiosity and energetic spirit. Together, we’ve had our fair share of foolery, and I’m grateful for every minute of it.

She encouraged my sense of adventure and always made space for me to be fully myself. Having Tori by my side on this big day means the world.

Sean is one of my other oldest friends, not only do we share so many memories, but he's easily one of the most supportive people you can have by your side. Happy to call this guy a friend/brother.

Marissa and I met at work in Arizona, and things took off when she invited me to a haunted house with her and another coworker—and we hit it off instantly (it was pretty clear when our entire dialogue is quoting The Office and SpongeBob SquarePants while complaining about our mutual stomach issues).

We are always laughing. She’s my emotional‑support human, and having her stand with me on this day is such a joy! Although unexpected; her friendship is so needed!

Marissa Federico

Angelo aka Big Sting and I met on a trip set up by David and Brandon to Six Flags. One thing about me is, if our first interactions are playful trash talk, I'm probably gonna love ya, and with Angelo, it was just that. Whether it was talking shit on my Eagles on the way there or calling me a B****h for not going on a roller coaster, I became a Big Sting fan. Since then we've developed more into a brother like relationship where we'll say the craziest things to each other... that no one else better say or else.

Brandon.... the amount of love I have for this man is unmatched (outside of Kendall of course). Brandon and I met when he worked with David at Sears and after a couple parties and drinks at the bar, we became friends. Then when I  moved to Laramie, outside of Tyler (who was my roommate), Brandon was the only guy I hung out with almost everyday. But, that's not the only reason why I love this guy, one day he was introducing us to his girlfriend's (at the time) friends and one of those girls was just.... wow.....then she started talking shit on the Broncos and also LOVED the alcoholic drinks I  made. That girls name is, well soon to be, Kendall Helart.

This airport is an international airport that may be more accessible to fly into depending on where you are coming from! This airport location is in East Phoenix and is about 20-25 minutes from the venue/ Gilbert area. (traffic dependent)

Sky Harbor Airport (PHX)

The Mesa Gateway Airport is located in Mesa and is about 12-20 minutes from the venue / Gilbert area (traffic dependent). This airport is a much smaller airport (the you have to walk outside and up a ramp to get on and off your plane kinda small). This airport is more accessible to guests traveling from smaller areas such as Rapid City, SD. Keep in mind that since this airport is smaller - there might not be flight options everyday of the week.

Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA)

Conveniently located close to Highway 60 and a short drive to downtown Phoenix. The Days Hotel by Wyndham Mesa Near Phoenix ideally places guests close to many popular area attractions. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is 14 minutes from the hotel. Mesa Gateway Airport is 25 minutes from the hotel. The wedding venue is 12 minutes from the hotel. Rooms for June 2026 are going for about $130-170 per night.

Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mesa Near Phoenix

This is where the bride and groom will be staying wedding night! This hotel is 5 miles from Gilbert and one mile from the Gilbert Rodeo Park. San Tan Village Mall is within a 3-minute drive of the hotel. The hotel is 12 minutes from the Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport. The hotel is 27 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The hotel is 11 minutes from the wedding venue. Rooms for June 2026 are going for between $120-170 per night.

Located just off Highway 60 near a variety of attractions and activities, this completely nonsmoking hotel in Mesa, Arizona offers contemporary amenities and convenient services. This is a walk in family-friendly 3D mini golf experience! I went here with my bridesmaid Jazmine and we had so much fun exploring the art and playing the course!

I think walk-ins are welcome, but passes can be purchased online as well for 90minute - 2hour jump time! This is a family friendly way to get energy out in your littles. Altitude offers 10am-1pm $10 for 2 hours jump times for littles 6 years and under. Sundays are their family fundays for groups of 4+.

Book ahead of time online for a Saturday night (as our wedding is Friday night)! JP's Comedy Club features various comedians with tickets at an affordable price! The club offers snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options, but they do not serve dinner.

My family, Kevin and I have explored these gardens as well as my bridesmaid Jazmine and I! The gardens offer beautiful scenery to walk around and enjoy some peaceful views! Their admission fees and hours are listed on their website and passes should be purchased ahead of time to choose an admittance time of your choice!

Japanese Friendship Garden

Hiking is a great option in Arizona with many beautiful and scenic trails such as the infamous "Hole in the Rock" located in Papago Park! This is where we took our engagement photos! There are various difficulties of trails available for all and the trail is available from 5am-11pm. It is recommended to hike before the heat of the day, around sunset, or after the sun has gone down. If hiking is for you, please wear proper clothing and shoes, wear proper sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen), and bring plenty of water (32oz per 1hr of hiking is recommended).

TopGolf is an activity that Kevin and I enjoy to do together and with friends! Definitely reserve a bay in advance and the more the merrier as you pay for a bay per hour not how many people are in attendance. Food and drink is available! Prices of bays go up as the day gets later. Sundays are Fundays for $30 a bay!

Arizona offers many beautiful and variously leveled golf courses for any avid golfers we may have joining us. Call ahead and book a tee time that works for you! Some courses to search in the Gilbert area consist of Kokopelli Golf Club, Greenfield Lakes Golf Course, Western Skies Golf Club, and more!
