Michael and Kendra knew each other for years before they got together. It just wasn't their time in those years.. years passed and one night after a long day working at the Race track outside of spring valley (Deer Creek Speedway) Kendra went down to the pits to visit Jacob Bleess after his race. Well to her surprise Michael was also down there (go figure ;) ) Kendra was known at this time to be drinking her in those times "signature" drink in which she INSISTED tasted just like a root beer float. At this time Kendra had already drank a couple. She tried to have Michael try it because of how good they tasted and how everyone needed to try her master piece of a drink she "invented." Michael refused with a chuckle and per usual and still to this day Kendra inclined that he was Crabby and she walked off.

Fast forward a few weeks, Kendra was browsing Facebook and noticed Michael's profile picture was of him shooting his compound bow. This was a surprise to her as she had no clue he shot bow and had the same passion and hobby that she had. She sent him a Facebook message saying "I didn't know you shot bow." This started the conversation about the passion they shared of bowhunting and being in the woods. This also started the competition of who had the better shot and who owned the better bow.. Team Mathews or Team Hoyt. Which we all know is team Mathews!

Ever since that Facebook message was sent the two have never went a single day without talking to each other. They now share a beautiful life together on a small hobby farm with their 2 boys; Beau (7) and Colt (4), along with their 2 German Shepherds Greta & Creed. If you ask Michael he never really imagined he would be a crazy donkey, goat, chicken dad either ;)
