In 2021, Kianna attended a New Years celebration at Joshuas residence on Cole Hill Road, where the couple would first meet. Through mutual friends, the pair slowly got to know one another. As they spent more and more time together, they grew to be close friends. The years went on while the two friends watched and supported each other as they went through all of lifes experiences.

On a beautiful July afternoon in 2023, Joshua invited Kianna over to his residence to help clean out and prep his garage for the some renovations. Kianna, naively thinking this was a platonic plan, was quickly surprised when Joshua voiced his true feelings and intentions towards her a few days before. For the first time ever, the pair were shy around each other. Their first date was spent cleaning out the garage, tying rebar together and nervously sneaking peeks at one another while they were working.

As the months went by, Joshua and Kianna fell in love quickly. The found that they shared the same goals, admirations, morals and plans for the future. All the hardships and tough life lessons, shaped how compassionate and supportive the couple were for one another. They spent as much time as they could together and were shocked by how effortless being loved by the right person can feel. With out a doubt, Joshua and Kianna were ready to spend their lives together.

On May 18th 2024, on the front steps of where the couple had first met, Joshua got down on one knee and asked Kianna if she would marry him. Full of surprise, Kianna said, "Actually? Actually?" as she jumped up and down with excitement. With happy tears in her eyes she quickly said yes to forever with her best friend.

Today, the couple is happily planning their lives with each other. Between wedding planning and continuing their first date by doing more home renovations, the pair are over joyed with the time they have been blessed to have together. They truly cannot wait for May 24th 2025 to get here.
