This is a Tulsa staple. It is not what it once was but it is under construction. The Center of the Universe in Tulsa is a concrete circle a little more than eight feet in diameter that is an acoustic anomaly. Any noise made inside the brick circle is loudly echoed, but only those inside the circle can hear it.
Downtown Tulsa is a huge hub for all things food and beer. Some of our favorites (you definitely cannot go wrong with any of these choices) Feel free to text us for other recommendations!:
McNellie's: Irish pub with over 350 beers. (Yes, really that many it's actually insane and the food is delicious)
Roosevelt's: Gastropub with a beautiful outdoor seating area, great food and drink list.
Bohemian Pizzeria: Great Italian food, cannot go wrong with either a pasta dish or a pizza.
Mother Road Market: Bustling food hall featuring craft cocktails, street tacos, rotisserie platters, and gourmet pizza. So many options and has one of the best HOT fried chicken places called Chicken and the Wolf.
Kai Vietnamese Cuisine: Some of the best Pho I have ever had. Cannot go wrong with anything here.
Bird & The Bottle: Although it is not in true downtown Tulsa, it is one of Kent's and Kim's favorite places to go. Bar and Grill.
Elgin Park: Sports bar. Good atmosphere, even better wings.
Noche: Authentic woodfired Mexican grill.
The Tavern: You have to order the angry Mac n Cheese, I don't make the rules but you have to.
Other honorable mentions: In the Raw, Mr. Kim's, Nola's, Smoke, Bull in the Alley, Fixins, Torchy's Tacos, 3 Tequilas, Mondos, Empire Pizza.
We have an insane amount of breweries that are downtown and very close to each other. All are family friendly. Top choices are listed first but again all are good and have lots of options.

2. American Solera
3. Welltown- great rooftop brewery
4. Dead Armadillo
5. Neff
6. Eerie Abbey Ales
7. Cabin Boys
8. Marshall's
9. Fassler Hall- German beer and food!
There are plenty of coffee shops all over Catoosa, Claremore, and Tulsa but we definitely wanted to highlight our favorites!
Topeca Coffee: Their history is interesting, delicious coffee, and in a beautiful art deco building in downtown Tulsa. The website details how the creator of this company moved to El Salvador with his coffee expertise and then went to the slopes of the Santa Ana volcano to raise a family that for generations has grown coffee. In 2001, they opened two roasting facilities, one on their own home town farm and one in Tulsa, OK. Topeca became one of the first farms to retail coffee shops in the world.
Pony Coffee: Kim’s favorite. Strong coffee and have delicious pastries. Revamped bicycle repair shop turned coffee shop. Ambiance is out of this world. Beautiful inside and outside. Place for kids to play too! Their Chai latte is delicious!
