For those of you that have known both of us since 96’ our story will be a reminder of our journey together. However, for our friends that haven’t know us quite that long you are in for a True Love story with some hardships along the way.
We will never forget the day we “met” in 1996 in a gas station parking lot in Blackstone, Va. We have gone through so much since then and changed our lives drastically together and apart.
Many years ago we had a very small wedding ceremony with our children and close family, it was a dream come true for us!
Fast forward to 2007 and our family would go through many difficult times and the outcome was not so beautiful. We divorced in 2011 and parted ways. As difficult as it was, it was what was best at that time.
We both ended up remarried to other people for a while but neither of us ever moved on truly in our hearts.
Out of the blue in June of 2023,not really having kept up with each other since all but 1 of our children were grown, there was a phone call. This call changed everything for both of us, neither of us knowing that we were both divorced and single again. Having a long distance relationship was challenging and may have never lasted when we were younger, but what we were building together was so different this time.
The Love that we shared was still so real and we both grew so much over our time apart, it’s was true blessing from God and we are lucky enough to continue our journey together!
Being together again as a family with our children and now 9 grandchildren we are complete ❤️
