Kyle and Annie met through mutual friends in 2005. Even though they were both dating other people they kept in touch and remained friends throughout the years. Kyle and Annie called it official in 2012 when they collaborated as best-man and maid-of-honor at Wade (Kyle's twin brother) and Steph's (Annie's lifelong best friend) wedding.

Kyle and Annie dated long distance between California and St. John, USVI for a year before moving to Boston together in 2013, and then back to California in 2014. They bought their first home together in Mission Viejo in October 2019. Annie adopted their dog, Kinky, while living in St. John, and she traveled with them to Boston and California, where she is currently living her best life full of sunshine and blankets at 13 years old.

In September 2020, Kyle proposed to Annie on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, which was quite the feat because Annie kept trying to follow him to the beach when he was trying to set up. Not many ladies are lucky enough to be presented with 3 rings to choose from! (They picked out the real ring after they got home).

In their spare time, Kyle and Annie enjoy hiking with their pup, discovering new restaurants, and traveling as much as their PTO allows.
