Cole and Kylee met in 2020. They were introduced to each other and have been inseparable ever since. The first year of their relationship, Cole and Kylee dated long distance, while Cole was living in Lincoln, NE working as a genetics analyst, and Kylee was living in Dakota Dunes, SD working as a high school teacher. It became clear to the two that this was something that was going to last, and it was time to take the next step. Cole moved back home to be with Kylee (and she is so so so grateful he did that for her!) and for two years they have been living together in Dakota Dunes, SD. There have been trips to Vegas, Nashville, the Black Hills, and so many more fun places in their time together. The couple loves being in each other's presence, and jump at the opportunity to do things together, whether that be going to dinner, concerts, bowling, golfing, or just hanging out on the couch watching some Husker football!

On December 31, 2023, Cole asked Kylee to marry him in the most magical way. He surprised her with her closest family and friends to be there for the event. It was a fairytale moment that Kylee will cherish forever, although their fairytale is just beginning...
