You could say it was love at first newscast... sort of. Kylen and Charlie met while both working the weekend newscasts at LEX 18 News in Lexington, KY. It was a tight-knit crew, and they quickly became friends while spending Saturday and Sunday evenings together.

Kylen and Charlie's first concert together was seeing Odesza in Louisville with a few friends for Kylen's birthday. They had only been dating a few months, and for her birthday Charlie gave Kylen a Dillard's gift card and a beer bong in a brown paper bag. A true romantic.

Kylen and Charlie love going to sporting events together, although preferably not Bengals games. Charlie never leaves those happy.

Kylen and Charlie spent his birthday tailgating and watching horse racing at Keeneland in Lexington. She did not give him a beer bong.

The holidays together are always fun, except when you're in Chicago and it's 2 degrees.

Charlie was subjected to a Cubs game on a Mills family trip to Arizona during spring training.

Kylen and Charlie enjoyed a 5 day trip to Puerto Vallarta to celebrate their friends Aly and Justin's wedding. Quite possibly their favorite trip to date, from what they can remember.

Kylen and Charlie climbed a glacier on a trip to Iceland, their last vacation just before the COVID-19 pandemic began.

With no sports being played in 2020, Charlie was thrilled to cover news AND be assigned work as Kylen's photographer. 2020 was quite the year.

So long Lexington! Just like that the wolf pack moved to California. In September, Kylen began work as a sports anchor and reporter at KRON 4 News. Charlie later began work as a sports anchor and reporter at CBS San Francisco, while continuing to work for Bally Sports Ohio on the Reds pre and post game shows. So it turns out that although Benny is large, he does not float.

She said yes!!! Charlie proposed at a nearby oceanfront hiking spot! Both the Walters and Mills were able to be there to celebrate, and they spent the next day doing wine tastings in Sonoma. It was a perfect weekend!
