Our Wedding

Kyran and Owen met in 2020, when Owen's sister, Avery, decided to set them up (thanks, Avery!). Their first date was to Governor Dodge State Park, and shortly after, the two made it official. While Kyran finished up her Business Analytics degree at Loras College (Dubuque, IA), Owen was hard at work at Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI). During their long distance relationship, the two made many trips to each other. Kyran fell in love with Milwaukee, and the two found a cozy apartment in downtown Milwaukee. Owen proposed to Kyran on their first official day in the new place! With a box of memorable items (clothing, photos, and letters), he popped the question and Kyran didn't hesitate to say YES! Kyran is working as a Data Analyst for Arthur J. Gallagher &amp; Co. while Owen prepares to begin his postgraduate program in Clinical Psychology at UW-Milwaukee this fall.

Our parents were best friends growing up and so were we.  We've been close for as long as I can remember, and I wouldn't want to spend my wedding day without her!

Kyran's younger sister.  When not goofing around with Owen, Irelyn and Kyran love going on Dunkin' runs and spending time together. 

Irelyn Brinkman

Grace is a close friend from home. We've been through musicals, sports, and high school together, so why not add my wedding to that list??

After moving to Milwaukee, Kyran very quickly became close with Tegan (Turner’s significant other).  Tegan taught Kyran everything she knows about billiards. When the two aren’t playing Sequence together, they’re likely shooting pool at the local dive bar.

Willow is Owen’s oldest sister, and graphic design extraordinaire. Kyran has enjoyed getting closer with Willow and was an attendant at her baby shower, in 2021. The happy couple are so grateful that the beautiful invites guests received were compliments of Willow!

Groomsmen

Owen's younger brother. The two shared a room growing up and are often an unbeatable duo at family game nights. You will undoubtedly see these two on the dance floor together on the big night!

Ralph Hombsch

Owen's older brother and role model. As members of the Air Force National Guard, they spend many weekends together at base. The two were deployed to Saudi Arabia together in 2021.

Turner Hombsch

Owen's brother-in-law. When not yelling at the Bucks games together, Chris and Owen are likely chatting about the newest fantasy fiction book. 

Chris Stewart

Owen's college friend and freshman year floormate.  Philip and his family hosted the couple in the summer of 2021, showing them around Carmel and San Francisco, CA. The two have enjoyed taking  an American Sign Language course together at Marquette.

Philip DeCocco

Owen's college friend and freshman year floormate. Marco keeps Owen fit with his custom workout plans, and he is often the driving force that puts Owen into party mode.

We've reserved a block of rooms at the Delta Hotel in Menominee Falls, WI for our friends and family to use on our big weekend. There is a small block reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights, and a larger block reserved for Sunday (our wedding night)!
