Our Wedding

&nbsp;Our story started in 2021 where we met at the Mount Royal Tennis Club. Our first months of dating consisted of lots of time in the car commuting back and forth to St-Georges-de-Beauces where Philippe was working at the time. Over the last few years, we fortunately have reduced our travel time and replaced that with time spent with our dog Stan. Lara's childhood dream was always to be married in Greece, and turns out it was Philippe's dream too...he just didn't know it yet. We are thrilled to invite you to celebrate with us in our dream location in olive groves at the Margi Farm. We are hoping that throughout your stay you will be able to have a traditional Greek experience, including the wedding ceremony, foods and many late nights ...&nbsp;&nbsp; This website includes all the early details of the itinerary, so that you can get started on your planning as soon as possible. As we continue to have more details we will ensure that the website is up to date so please keep an eye out as the wedding date gets closer.

Notre histoire a commencé en 2021, lorsque nous nous sommes rencontrés au Mount Royal Tennis Club. Nos premiers mois de fréquentation ont été marqués par de nombreux allers-retours en voiture entre Montréal et Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, où Philippe travaillait à l’époque. Heureusement, au fil des années, nous avons troqué ces longs trajets contre du temps de qualité avec notre chien Stan. Depuis son enfance, Lara rêvait de se marier en Grèce — et il s’avère que c’était aussi le rêve de Philippe… il ne le savait tout simplement pas encore. C’est donc avec beaucoup de joie que nous vous invitons à venir célébrer avec nous dans ce lieu de rêve, au cœur des oliveraies de la Margi Farm.Nous espérons que durant votre séjour, vous aurez l’occasion de vivre une véritable expérience grecque traditionnelle, incluant la cérémonie de mariage, la gastronomie locale et de nombreuses soirées festives... Le site web contient les informations préliminaires concernant l’itinéraire, afin que vous puissiez commencer à planifier votre voyage dès maintenant. Our Story

Transport from Airport // Transport depuis l’aéroport

Taxis and Ubers are available at the Athens Airport. It is approximately 35-50 Euros to travel by Taxi to the suggested accommodation locations. Multiple car rental services are available for pick-up at the airport should you wish to rent a car during your stay. Please note transport will be provided from the church to the reception venue and returning to Margi Hotel after the reception. Des taxis et des Ubers sont disponibles à l’aéroport d’Athènes. Le coût d’un trajet en taxi vers les hébergements suggérés se situe entre 35 et 50 euros.&nbsp;Plusieurs services de location de voiture sont également disponibles directement à l’aéroport, si vous souhaitez louer une voiture durant votre séjour. Veuillez noter qu’un transport sera assuré de l’église à la Margi Farm (réception), ainsi que pour le retour à l’hôtel Margi après la réception.

We recommend you stay in Vouliagmeni or Glyfada throughout your stay in Athens. The Margi Hotel will serve as our central meeting spot for the events on the day of the Wedding. We will meet to join the procession at the hotel and all transport leaving the reception at Margi Farm will return to the Margi Hotel. Nous vous recommandons de séjourner à Vouliagmeni ou à Glyfada pendant votre séjour à Athènes.&nbsp;L’hôtel Margi servira de point de rassemblement central pour les événements le jour du mariage. Nous nous y retrouverons pour le départ de la procession, et tous les transports quittant la réception à la Margi Farm ramèneront les invités à l’hôtel Margi.

All guests are invited to join us on a 'friends-moon' to keep the party going for a few more days &amp; the more the merrier! We will be in Paros from May 15th leaving May 20th. Tous les invités sont conviés à se joindre à nous pour une « lune de miel entre amis » afin de prolonger les festivités de quelques jours, et plus on est de fous, plus on rit ! Nous serons à Paros du 15 mai au 20 mai.

The best way to get to Paros from Athens is to fly. Direct flights are offered daily to the island. Ferries are also available leaving from the port in Athens to travel to Paros and take several hours. La meilleure façon de se rendre à Paros depuis Athènes est en avion. Des vols directs sont proposés quotidiennement vers l'île. Il est également possible de prendre un traversier depuis le port d'Athènes vers Paros, mais la traversée dure plusieurs heures.
