Timothy and Lovely met through mutual friends as Timothy’s best friend Adam went to the same high school as Lovely. Although they could have been found within the same crowd, their friendship didn’t start to grow until 2017 when they both worked at Shogun in San Bernardino, CA.

Prior to Lovely starting work at Shogun, her older sister Cheril tried her best efforts to get Lovely and Timothy together. At this time, Timothy and Lovely knew of each other but did not really talk. Cheril would tell Lovely that she would love to have Timothy as her brother-in-law since they all shared common interest of Disney, Broadway Musicals and was faithful to God. People caught on and would tease Timothy to talk to Lovely but the relentless teasing made Timothy not want to talk to her. Lovely started crushing on Timothy learning that he was interested in the same things as her. Since Timothy never made a move, Lovely moved on with her life.

Lovely and Timothy finally developed a real friendship once they started working together at Shogun. They got to know each other, not romantically, but just as friends.

In August 2021 (post pandemic) Lovely and Timothy started becoming close friends. With a group of friends from Shogun they would see each other few times a week. Their friendship got deeper as they became open with their personal emotions and trials they were struggling with. Around this time, Timothy and Lovely hung out solo for the first time to study at Cupcake Bar in Redlands CA. They ended up not studying and just talking the whole time. They walked around Downtown Redlands and got to know each other better. This was where Timothy knew that Lovely was the one.

On October 13, 2021 Timothy officially took Lovely on their first date. They went mini golfing at GLO mini golf in Tyler Mall. Afterwards, they talked in the car until 2am in the morning and even ended up booking tickets to watch Waitress the Musical together in January the following year. This was where Lovely knew Timothy was the one.

After months of dating and getting to know each other more, Timothy asked Lovely officially to be his girlfriend on December 08, 2021 at Mission Inn, Riverside CA.

On October 07, 2023 Timothy popped the question and asked Lovely to marry him on Lihaga Island in Manado, Indonesia.
