Jacob and Lydia met at one of Alive Wesleyan Church’s small groups in September 2024. After bonding over shared interests, they began dating in October 2024.

On the first date, Lydia was sick and gave Jacob the chance to cancel, which he refused. Then on the second date, Jacob was sick (of course).

Through growth in their relationship and their walks with God, they began to become more serious.

On July 11 2025, Jacob popped the question.

So, now, it is our greatest honor to invite you to be apart of the start of our journey with us.
