Earlier that year, COVID struck and I had to move home from WVU. With no estimated return in sight, I continued online and started 2 new jobs. My second job was at the Venetian Pub where I had met my new friend, Sydnee. We spent most of our time together either on shift or always running around. At the time, Sydnee was with Mac’s cousin. With this mutual friend, Mac and I were set up to meet.
After shift one day, we drove out to the farm not knowing Mac would be there. We pulled up to Mac’s house to pick Sawyer up, and here comes along Mac.
He drove trucks at the time and had just gotten in from a long week away. Sometimes destiny is shirtless with sweat pants, draped with a mullet sporting a sweet Cheyanne. And that destiny was mine. I guess when you know you know.
To think we have been together for 6 years, have 2 kids and now planning our wedding, is crazy.
While our work schedules may not align always, we love to camp, kayak, watch football and spend time with our kids and family.
We would love nothing more than to have a big celebration with our closest people. We hope to see you there!
