Brady and I started dating on May 21, 2022. Because three years is a lot of time to cover, we have decided to share just a few of our favorite memories together.

Our First Date (Through Brady's Eyes):

For our first date, I wanted everything to be a surprise for Madison. I planned to take her golfing because I wanted to do something active as a first date, where we could laugh and talk and just enjoy each other's company. So, we went to Golf Suites in Jenks, and we truly had an amazing time. Afterwards, we grabbed some dinner at HuHot and zipped on over to the mall because we ate way too much food. At the mall, after walking through multiple stores, we passed something that would forever change our lives. Build-A-Bear Workshop. Immediately upon seeing it, Madison and I looked at each other, and knew: "We are gonna build a bear today." His name is Lucas. The End.

Hiking in Beaver's Bend (Through Madison's Eyes):

Ah, yes. The time Brady almost killed me. "It will be so much fun! I have three hiking trails picked out for us to do!" Brady said. I love to hike, so I didn't even bat an eye. We packed lunches and got on the road! After arriving on the site, we had ourselves a little picnic, which was so lovely. But that is when the real torture started. This "brisk, fun little hike" was actually three miles long, and completely vertical for at least half of it. I hadn't even stretched! Though the hike itself was way more physically enduring than I expected, we had so much fun. The scenery was just as breathtaking as the hike. When we were finished, I told Brady that I was okay not doing the other two he had picked out. The End.

The Proposal (Through Brady's Eyes)

Madison had always told me that she wanted to be completely surprised whenever I proposed. The weekend of the Heyburn Campout, I invited Madison out to a fancy dinner, which was not uncommon for us. After church on Sunday, we headed to our reservation. We were "running ahead of time," so I "spontaneously" took Madison to the park I planned on proposing in. There was a willow tree at this park that I was excited to show her, knowing that willow trees are her favorite. However, when we approached the site, I saw that the willow tree had been cut down! So, we continued to walk through the rest of the park, and I began leading her to the proposal spot. As we got closer, I saw that there was an ambulance in our way, loading up a girl who had just passed out. She was fine, but I thought I might pass out next if we ran into any other issues! After the ambulance cleared, we finally made it to the spot, but there was a family taking pictures there. We waited, and waited, and waited. Madison was growing impatient. "I can see the whole walkway from here! Let's just go look at something else," she said. I told her they shouldn't be much longer! They were. Finally, they moved on to another spot and my long, anxious wait was over....we started walking down the pathway and....

This is Madison, to interrupt. I was clearly in a weird mood this day...but when we waited so long for this one particular spot, I started getting a feeling that he was about to propose. So, we walk the entire way to the end of this pathway, and when we reach the end, Brady stops and looks at me. And you know what he said? "Okay, we can go back now!"

ARE YOU SERIOUS? I was a little mad at this point haha. So I started walking back. Fast. Real Fast. Okay, back to Brady.

We reached the end of the pathway, but I planned on proposing in the center. I tell Madison that we can start walking back now, and she takes off! I had to grab her arm to keep her from running away! And that is when I proposed...or at least tried to! The whole time I was trying to talk she was laughing...uncontrollably laughing...

I was nervous!! And giddy!!

Finally, I was able to get enough words out to at least ask her to marry me. And the rest is history! The End.
