Our Wedding

Our story begins like many. On a dating app with a cheesy pickup line.   Madisyn: I’m actually learning about important dates in history and I was wondering if you want to be one of them.   And the rest is in fact history.   Robert and I have been seemingly just missing each other for a long time. As we got to know each other I learned that growing up he spent time at the Lost Peninsula Marina in Erie, MI. For those that don’t know, Erie, MI just happens to be my one stoplight, speck on the map, hometown. He actually had to drive by my childhood home to get to the Marina.   Fast forward to after college, we were both working in the same area less than a mile apart in Metro Detroit. By the grace of God we finally found each other and we are so excited to spend our special day with you.   We truly appreciate all of the love and support it has taken to get us where we are today. We are so grateful to be able to give you all a night full of fun, food, memories, drinks, and dancing.   With love, Madisyn &amp; Robert

Please book by June 10, 2026 NOTE: because the room block consists of a variety of rooms (water/city view, two queens, one king, etc) it may be cheaper to simply book without the code, depending on when you book.

DoubleTree By Hilton - Port Huron

Please use code MDW to receive a discounted rate of $149 per night. To book you may click the “Website” button below which will take you to our room block page. You can also call the hotel directly at 810-662-3400. We have reserved rooms for both July 10 and July 11.

Holiday Inn - Port Huron

We will be offering one shuttle trip to the venue prior to the ceremony. Capacity of the shuttle is 56 people and is first come, first serve. The shuttle will arrive at Double Tree at 3:30 p.m. and will then arrive at Holiday Inn shortly thereafter before arriving at the venue. We will be offering three shuttle trips at the end of the night. The shuttle will take you to Double Tree or the Holiday Inn. Please note if you are not staying in one of those hotels you must provide your own transportation as the shuttle will not take you to another hotel, Airbnb, etc. The shuttle will run at 10:30 p.m., 12:00 a.m., and 12:30 a.m. These times will be posted by the front door of the venue for your convenience. The venue does have a spacious parking lot and our guests are welcome to leave their cars parked there overnight.
