CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?
To ensure we can accommodate all guests comfortably within the venues capacity, we ask that only invited guests attend our wedding festivities. You'll find the details about your party size, including whether it includes a plus one on your invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE WEDDING?
We truly wish we could invite all our guests children to our wedding, however we are only able to invite the children of immediate families. You will find the details about your party size on your invitation.
WHAT TIME SHOULD WE ARRIVE TO THE CEREMONY?
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park, find your seat, grab a drink, and settle in. Arrive between 3:30pm-3:45pm to ensure no interruptions. Reception to follow immediately after the ceremony. Reception to conclude at 11:30pm.
IS THERE PARKING AT THE VENUE?
Yes! There are two main parking lots, and a third for overflow, it will be large enough to accommodate all guests at the venue.
HAVE YOU RESERVED BLOCKS OF ROOMS AT ONE OR MORE HOTELS?
Accommodations: While we do not have a formal hotel block, there are plenty of wonderful vacation homes and local hotels in the area. We recommend staying in Blairsden-Graeagle, or Portola for easy access to the wedding venue. Here are some wonderful options:
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR YOUR WEDDING?
We ask that all guests wear semi formal attire, we'd love to see you in your best dressed look! Please keep in mind this is an outdoor and indoor venue, so be mindful of that when choosing shoes.
WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Our wedding is a combination of both! The ceremony will be outside overlooking the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains, if it projected to rain, there will be a tent to cover! The reception will be indoors overlooking Plumas Pines golf course.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN THE AREA?
Crisp and sunny is the perfect way to describe early October in Blairsden-Graeagle CA! During the daytime expect mid-to-upper 60s, perfect for enjoying the mountain views. Once the sun goes down it cools off quickly, temperatures can drop to low 40s or 30s. We recommend bringing layers. While the afternoon will be pleasant, you may want to prepare with a warm jacket, wrap, or sweater just in case!
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?
We invite you to be fully present during our ceremony, and respectfully request that all cameras and phones be put away during the ceremony. Our officiant will announce a time for everyone to take their own photos.
WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?
Yes! We will have a variety of options to meet everyone's dietary needs. When submitting your RSVP's please indicate any allergies or dietary restrictions so we can plan accordingly.
WILL THERE BE A GAP BETWEEN THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?
There will be a cocktail hour between the wedding ceremony and the reception, featuring drinks, food, games. Dinner and desert will be served as soon as possible, ensuring no one gets hungry.
HOW LONG WILL YOUR BAR SERVICE BE?
WHAT TIME WILL YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION END? IS THERE AN AFTER-PARTY?
Music will end by 11:30pm and all guests need to depart by midnight. There will be no after party, but there will be plenty of partying on the dance floor during the reception! Dancing the night away is heavily encouraged!
