Our story started in 2012, a trigonometry class neither of us expected to remember. No one expects sparks to fly in math class, but somehow, something quietly lit up between us.

By chance, we landed in the same Calculus I class the next semester. Study sessions turned into late-night conversations and laughter that came easier than expected. However, as the semester ended, so did our time in the same place. Life moved on, and so did we, at least for a while.

Fast-forward eight years… Yes, EIGHT! To January 2020. This time, we met again at a salsa class. When our eyes met across the dance floor, BOOM, the spark returned, as if no time had passed. Only now, we weren’t solving equations, we were learning to move in rhythm. And just to make the moment unforgettable, a rocket launch lit up the sky above us that night... What nerds we are.

From there, things just made sense.

In December 2024, Marcus proposed at Niagara Falls, surrounded by falling snow and the quiet beauty of winter. Our Pomeranian, Penny, was right there with us, completely unaware she was part of one of the most meaningful moments of our lives.

When it came time to choose our wedding date, we wanted it to mean something. We chose to honor where it all began. With math, a touch of nerdy charm, and like our story, it goes on forever. π (3.14)
