For Guests Traveling by Air

You will be flying into Denver International Airport (DIA), which is about 30-40 minutes from Downtown Denver. For transportation from the airport, here are some options: The <a href="https://app.rtd-denver.com/route/A/schedule?serviceType=4&amp;direction=Westbound" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">A Line Train</a> goes from DIA to Downtown Denver's Union Station. To board, follow the signs to the Transit Center Entrance. If you would like to continue by train closer to our event locations, transfer at Union Station and take either the E Line or the H Line to the University of Denver station. Uber, Lyft, and taxis are readily available at DIA. Pick-ups and drop-offs happen at Level 5, the same level as baggage claim. Rental Cars: You can rent a car at DIA or ride the A Line Train to Union Station and rent from a rental agency in Downtown Denver (for a better rate). Hotel Shuttle Services are typically only available for the hotels within 10 miles of DIA.

As a reward for making the trip to a Friday wedding, you get the whole weekend to enjoy the beautiful state of Colorado! Below are a few recommendations for fun things to do in the Mile High City and the Centennial State!

A fan favorite, Red Rocks is the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world. During the day, you can enjoy a run up and down the stairs, panoramic views of the Denver horizon, and hikes among the beautiful *red rocks*. At night, if you're a fan of The Avett Brothers, they'll be performing there the whole weekend!

A classic Colorado town nestled in the foothills. Famous historical sites include the Coors Brewery Tour, the Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave, and the Colorado Railroad Museum. There are also plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities at Lookout Mountain, Clear Creek Trail, and more. Round out the day with dinner and drinks at one of our local breweries!

Take a 45-minute drive up to Boulder to see the stunning Flatirons. You can enjoy the view on a chill walk around Chautauqua Park, a more moderate hike on one of the nearby trails, or a scenic drive up to Lost Gulch Overlook.

About a 1-hour drive into the Rocky Mountains, this short hike leads to a beautiful alpine lake on a slope full of snow! It has opportunities for snowball fights, sledding, and even a polar plunge cliff jump if you so dare.

Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Please feel free to embrace a festive and chic summer mood!

The central part of our wedding celebration is, of course, the Nuptial Mass. We kindly ask that you maintain a reverence for the sacrifice of the Mass through your dress. A gentleman wearing a coat and tie is proper for a traditional Catholic wedding. Ladies should have necklines, backs, shoulders, and knees covered during the Mass.

While not required, some women choose to honor the tradition of wearing a veil or head covering during Mass. It reminds us that, as members of the universal Church, we are the Bride of Christ. Loaner veils will be available in the vestibule.
