Based on the pure nature of how Shannon and Matthew share their sometimes over-detailed stories, we’ve agreed to limit this section to a short preview of our lives together. That being said, either of us always love to share every detail of our many adventures that have led us to this point in our lives, and look forward to catching up with everyone in October!

We met in medical school near the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in July of 2020. Like many things that the pandemic affected, the beginning of our education was conducted behind the computer screen from our own homes and did not allow for much social interaction prior to starting. Luckily, a brave soul in our Rocky Vista Class of 2024 decided to host a BBQ before we were sentenced to studying in isolation, which is where Shannon, Matthew, and Lola met for the first time. After a first date hiking Maxwell Falls in the Rocky Mountains, the rest was history and a lifetime of adventures, traveling, studying, and eventual doctoring ensued.

Feel free to browse the collection of photos below highlighting some of our most memorable adventures from hiking/skiing/camping in the Rockies, to graduating from medical school and pursuing our medical careers in Milwaukee. And again, we’d love to share all of our stories when we can all come together in October for a grand celebration!
