The story of how this love began is not your typical love story. Shockingly enough, Seth didn’t use a cheesy, one liner to sweep Mayson off of her feet, and they live happily ever after. Nor was Mayson the flight instructor for Top Gun and Seth a pilot. It all started in the halls of Dames Ferry Elementary. This is where Seth likes to claim that Mayson first fell in love with him, while watching him post an impressive stat line in a game of football at recess. This however, was not the case. It wasn’t until 9th grade that the two became close friends and created a bond that would eventually last forever. After high school, came college. The two attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and the friendship between them grew even stronger. At this point in the story, others were beginning to wonder why they weren’t dating or probably just assumed they were. Still being oblivious, the two had yet to notice that the reason they had remained the bestest of friends was probably because they were meant for each other. Eventually, the frequent lunch dates and studying together began to carry more meaning, for both of them. In the spring of 2021, Mayson asked Seth to be her date to her AOII Formal. The rest is history.

Who knew a fancy orange dress and a shiny tuxedo were the missing piece to make their relationship official. Here they are 4 years later, doing the same thing, except this time the dress is white.
