It all started back in 2015. Currey, a Lincoln East Spartan, and Megan, a Pius X Thunderbolt, were introduced by mutual friends. Despite attending rival high schools on A street, they quickly discovered a connection and began spending time together. Their friendship blossomed into something more, and by the end of the summer they were officially dating.

Through the many high school dances, sporting events, and countless late-night conversations, Currey and Megan's love flourished. They supported each other through thick and thin, always each others biggest cheerleader. Even when college took them to different cities, their bond remained unbreakable. They made the most of their time together, visiting each other every chance they got. Distance truly made their hearts grow fonder.

Finally, fate brought them back together. Both Currey and Megan finished at The University of Nebraska at Lincoln leaving with many memories and gaining lifelong friends along the way.

After graduation, Currey pursued his dream of becoming a doctor and is currently in his third year of medical school at UNMC College of Medicine. Megan, passionate about education, taught third-grade for two years and recently moved up to fourth-grade. Now settled down in Omaha, they have begun to build a life together filled with love, laughter, and shared dreams. Some of their favorite things to do together include going to concerts, cheering on the huskers, trying new restaurants, watching movies, and traveling.

As they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives together, Currey and Megan are filled with excitement and anticipation. Their love has stood the test of time. They are best friends, confidants, and soulmates, and they can't wait to celebrate with all of their favorite people on their special day.
