Back in September 2017, Megan moved down to San Diego and quickly settled into her first downtown apartment. Even more quickly, she settled into Bottlecraft, the local's establishment downstairs. This is how Chris and Megan’s friendship began, and 3 years later, they took their friendship to the beach.

Having never spent time outside of a group setting before, Chris and Megan had a chance to talk in a more meaningful way. They instantly connected and realized the trust and easiness they had developed in friendship had the potential to grow into something much stronger.

Many more beach trips, quite a few vacations, a move (3 blocks down), and a very large cat later- Chris and Megan are still realizing that potential. They are the best of friends, true partners, and cherish a love that has only grown stronger.

On December 15, 2023, Chris surprised Megan with a trip up to Carlsbad. After checking into their beachfront hotel, Chris whisked Megan off to the beach where he proposed on the cliffs at sunset. Megan said (ok, squealed) YES! Shortly after, Katie and Matt popped out of their disguises to celebrate with them. They had been there the whole time and captured these photos of C&M's special day.
